GEEFIT PLAN OF ATTACK ON COVID-19
COVID 19 UPDATE
Following the recent recommendations from the government (16MAR2020) I want to reassure all members that all Geefit Bootcamp’s will continue to run at this time.
As mentioned in my previous messages I am taking additional precautions at all of my sessions to reduce risks by not using equipment and providing body weight sessions. These will still be as effective to achieve your fitness goals.
KEY POINTS OF ADVICE:
– PLEASE FOLLOW GOVERNMENT RECOMMENDATIONS ON PERSONAL DISTANCE AT ALL TIMES
– DO NOT ATTEND SESSIONS IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OR FEEL UNWELL
– WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE AND AFTER SESSIONS
– WEAR GLOVES AT ALL TIMES
– IF YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD TO SELF ISOLATE DO NOT ATTEND ANY BOOTCAMP SESSIONS FOR AT LEAST 14 DAYS
Please also make sure that you watch or read about the governments most recent advice and make your own personal decision on if you want to attend Bootcamps at this time. I recommend that you do this before each session as the situation is constantly changing.
If you are uncertain about any health conditions that you have and how the governments recommendations affect you please contact an appropriate healthcare provider for further advice.
For those of you who choose not to attend at this time, please do not cancel your membership as I will be designing workouts which will still be fun and creative that you can complete at home so that you can continue to maintain your fitness. I will post these to the Facebook social member only pages and WhatsApp groups for those who have no Facebook. My business relies on your memberships and I will do my absolute best to continue providing you with workouts and sessions during this difficult time, please support and bear with me.
If you are in self isolation following government recommendations please do NOT attend Bootcamp sessions until you isolation period is completed.
IMPORTANT FOR MY MORNING BOOTCAMP MEMBERS:
We will do as much bodyweight exercise as we can but I’ll still be using appropriate kit which we won’t share with each other. I will advise you to wipe down the kit before the start of the session and also when finished. Hand sanitiser is in the gym available to use at any given time. I suggest we all use an individual box in the gym, and refrain from using the green matting, this will limit contact and more absorbent surfaces. Crossfit Southampton have some strict cleaning measures in place also to help keep us safe, and I will continue to monitor the situation and work with them. Gloves are a good idea at this time.
Let’s work together at this uncertain time and make sure we take any precautions possible to try and keep bootcamp running as long as possible. I promise to take care of all of my members and follow all guidelines. Thank you for understanding and let’s continue our fitness journey while we can.
Thank you for your understand. Sam ?
