Geefit 5k Fancy Dress Run
NOT YOUR TYPICAL 5K RUN
Geefit is absolutely buzzing to announce a new event, guaranteed to challenge, inspire and be the most fun you’ve ever had (whilst exercising!).
We are proud to be bringing you Geefit’s first ever, 💚👗🧢🏃🏼♀️FANCY DRESS 5K RACE!!!🏃👑🥋💚 This one of a kind event will be held on Sunday August 28th at Wide Lane Sports Ground, Eastleigh, SO50 5PE.

🙋🏾♂️ WHO IS THE EVENT FOR?
This one-of-a-kind event is for EVERYONE. That’s right — if you have a budding Geefitter at home, we are so pleased to welcome children aged 5-16 into this race! 👩👦👨👧
There is a 2.5k option for under 16s and all 16+ will complete the full 5k.
Parents/Carers will be required to accompany their young people around the course and each participant must sign Ts & Cs plus a waiver. Parents/carers must be responsible for their young people at all times. Geefit accepts no liability for children.
Whilst we are thrilled to welcome the children, please leave your four-legged friends at home. No dogs will be permitted around the race 🦮
🤷🏾♂️ WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
Participants are expected to arrive 45mins/1hr before the race begins at 9am (first wave) to register, warm up and show off their fancy dress! (optional). 💃🏼🕺
The race will be fully signposted with clearly marked start and finish lines and groups will begin in 5 minute increments. 🏁
Water and energy refreshments will be provided free of charge at designated checkpoints during the race and at the finish line. 💦🚰
You are welcome to run or walk, the pace is entirely up to you! You can even skip if you like — the aim is just to have fun whilst completing your 5k.
Geefit will be providing the race with experienced, mobile, medical cover in the unlikely event of injury. 🚑
💁🏾♂️ WHAT YOU GET.
Apart from the satisfaction of a great run, you will also be in line for some Geefit goodies upon completion of the 5k!
All participants will receive a bespoke Geefit finishers medal and the adults will also receive a T-shirt. Who doesn’t love a free T-shirt, right?! 🏅
Geefit will provide chip timing and results as well as FREE professional race photos! 📸
Refreshments will be available for an extra charge. 🥤🧃🧁
You will of course, as Geefit standard, be provided with friendly support and assistance by qualified instructors.
👉🏾 WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.
Whilst this is a fancy dress event, if that’s not your bag – fancy dress is optional. There is no theme, just any fancy dress – we’ll be on the lookout for the craziest dressed participants. 👒🎩🧥. This really is going to be a special Geefit community event. Although we are a Bootcamp with health and fitness at the fore, at the heart of Geefit is you. And nothing is more important to Geefit than its members. So let’s get together, have some fun and get some exercise in as a bonus. 💚

These prices will then increase to £28 and £16 respectively.
